De Koninklijke Belgische Vereniging voor Oto-Rhino-Laryngologie, Gelaat- en Halschirurgie is partner van de Belgische Beroepsvereniging voor ORL, Gelaat- en Halschirurgie (de BBVORLGHC of de Beroepsvereniging) en van VA-NKO.

B-ORL Annual Congress 2024

Dear colleagues,

I’m pleased to announce that the final program of the Annual B-ORL meeting 2024 is available now online.

The theme of the meeting “ENT across the life-span, balanced and sustained” will cover recent innovations in the field of ENT for both pediatric and adult patients.

This program reflects the effort of our local ENT faculty at UZA who invited national and and international colleagues from different ENT subspecialties and other disciplines. The scientific program was approved and supported by the Board of B-ORL.

The Professional ENT society will support the session professional development, Green ENT and a breakfast session on Saturday morning for the ENT trainees and master of the trainee program.

Representatives from the industry will be eager to providing you updates on new products, instruments and tools during the coffee and lunch breaks.

The congress diner on Friday evening will take place at an historical location with an excellent culinary tradition: restaurant Sir Anthony Van Dijck in “de Vlaaikensgang” :

And finally, the Annual meeting is an excellent opportunity to meet and chat with colleagues in a friendly atmosphere and to visit Antwerp.

B-ORL Annual Congress 2024

Dear colleagues,

I’m honored to invite you at the B-ORL Annual Congress which will take place on 22nd and 23rd of November 2024 at the Antwerp University Campus, Drie Eiken, Antwerp.
The theme of this meeting is “ENT across the life span”.

Two broad themes will be covered.

First, there will be dedicated lectures and workshops on ENT disorders encountered in both children and adults.

Secondly, there will be lectures dealing with how we as ENT surgeons change during our career. Attention will be given to barriers we are facing while trying to keep the work-life balance, to the development of an academic career and to the acquisition of new skills in order to guarantee optimal care for our patients.

I’m proud to announce the preliminary programme which I developed together with our local team at the Antwerp University Hospital and with the support of the B-ORL Board. You may find an overview of the programme below.  The detailed preliminary programme will be announced shortly.

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome at the Spring symposium of the Royal Belgian Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology and Head and
Neck Surgery or B-ORL.

In line with the tradition of the Society, this meeting is a forum for our young ENT colleagues and
trainees to share with us their clinical and research activities.

I’m happy to inform you that we received more than 40 high quality abstracts which will be presented
either as an oral presentation or poster.

May I encourage you to actively participate in the discussion and give our young colleagues all your
attention and support?

During the breaks, please take time to visit our sponsors and connect with your colleagues.

At the end of the day, the best presentations in Rhinology, Otology, Head-Neck/Laryngology, and poster
will be awarded.

Spring Meeting

Geachte Collega,                      

 
De Voorjaarsvergadering van de Koninklijke Belgische Vereniging voor Oto-Rhino-Laryngologie, Gelaat- en Halschirurgie (vrije mededelingen en toekenning prijzen) vindt plaats op 16 maart 2024.

Het congres zal doorgaan in het DoubleTree by Hilton Brussels, Ginestestraat 3, 1210 Brussel.

De deadline voor het indienen van abstracts is 10 februari 2024.

Deze moeten verzonden worden naar het secretariaat van de Vereniging (orl@semico.be) en aan de voorzitter (an.boudewyns@uza.be).

De richtlijnen voor het opstellen van de abstract vindt u hier.

Voor deze spring meeting 2024 zullen volgende 4 prijzen van elk 1000 euro worden uitgereikt:

  • 1 voor de beste mondelinge presentatie in Otologie-Audiologie
  • 1 voor de beste mondelinge presentatie in Rhinologie
  • 1 voor de beste mondelinge presentatie in Laryngologie, Gelaat- en Halschirurgie
  • 1 voor de beste poster
  • De vijfde prijs van 1000 euro gaat naar de winnaar van de Temporal Bone Contest.

 
Noteer ook alvast de datum van het jaarcongres in uw agenda. Dit zal plaatsvinden op 22 en 23 november 2024 te Antwerpen.

SAVE THE DATE - B-ORL Congress 2023 - Palais des congrès de Liège - 8-9 December 2023

Dear Friends,
Dear Colleagues,

The Annual Congress of the Royal Belgian Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery will take place on Friday December 8th and Saturday December 9th in “Le Palais des Congrès” in Liège.

As the current President of the Society it is my pleasure to prepare the scientific program. The program will be mostly dedicated to our colleagues in private practice and to the residents.

All useful information regarding the program, venue, inscription, travel and hotel details will become available on the website of the Royal Belgian Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.

We hope to welcome you at our Autumn Congress the 8th and 9th of December 2023 in Liege!
